A 1.5-hour workshop and regroup for Visual Artists to look back and plan ahead for the rest of 2023.

We’re halfway through 2023 and the summer is often a time when things slow down in the art world. It’s a great time to reflect and strategize.

This workshop will help artists regroup and plan for the remainder of 2023. Virginia of The Artist’s Office will report back on what she has been doing this year to move her career forward: what is working, and what is not. Topics covered will involve Open Calls, Building a meaningful and beneficial network to garner opportunities and the success of “Wild Card” efforts like cold emailing and pitching unsolicited projects.

In this single-session workshop, Virginia will present in her usual fully transparent and honest way for the first hour, and then the remaining 30 minutes will be for discussion, Q&A, and sharing tips from you and the other participants about what has worked or not worked so far this year.
