This workshop is an introduction to Lightroom specifically for artists.
High quality images are one of the most important factors in getting grant, residency and exhibition opportunities. Knowing how to take and edit images yourself in a pinch or on a budget is an important tool for artists to have.
This workshop will help artists become familiar with using Lightroom as a tool to streamline the process of importing, organizing and developing images. After this 2-hour workshop, artists will be able to take photos of their work in the studio and be able to edit them to look professional without having to hire a photographer.
Things you will learn:
how to fix light and dark spots, straighten edges and color correct
how to add copyright metadata
how to catalog images for your archive
and more - bring your questions!
The workshop will be taught by Kiki Seror - LA based photographer and Lecturer at Stanford University and will be held in a private artist studio located in Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
